In the series ‘Immigrant Heart (Venice)’, I tell the stories of my encounters with non-EU immigrants in Venice. The worlds that come together in the heart of the immigrant inspire these paintings. These personal encounters are transform into wider narratives, that can be applied to social groups rather than specific individuals. This series of works has been produced from my participation in the Art Residency organized by the Lapis Lazuli: artE gallery
